Chips and Guac

Sarah loved avocados when she was a baby, so I guess it stands to reason that she would also love guacamole.  But she really, REALLY loves guacamole...

Sidewalk Chalk

Today it rained.  Not where we live, exactly, but about half a mile down the road.  I didn't realize that it wouldn't rain at our house, though, so I took Sarah outside to draw with sidewalk chalk and to dance in the rain once it started. (She hasn't had much experience with rain since it hasn't rained here all summer!)  We only ended up with a few teeny sprinkles, but our driveway was sure festive!

Playing at the Public Pool

Sarah and I met our friends Shauna and Finley and Jessica and Brooklyn at the pool for a playdate today.  It was the first time Sarah had been to the public pool, and I think she really enjoyed it!

Corn Dogs

Tonight Sarah had corn dogs for the first time (they were actually turkey dogs, but we'll keep that one to ourselves!).  She really enjoyed them, but had a hard time figuring out just how to eat them.  It was too cute not to document!

My favorite part of the night, though, was when she discovered that there was a stick inside the corn dog.  Somehow, that made the corn dog suddenly disgusting!  I think we'll have corn dogs ALL the time!!!
