Last Day of School

Today was the last day of school for me - which meant that it was Sarah's last day at daycare for the year!  I can't believe how much she's grown since August. 

When I dropped her off for her first day of "school" back in August, she was 4 1/2 months old.  She was riding in an infant carrier and wore size 6 month clothes.  That first day at daycare, she had five 3oz bottles and napped from 8:30-9:50 and from 12:40-2:40.  Her big activity of the day was spending time in the exersaucer.   

When I picked her up on her last day, she was 14 months old.  She held my hand and walked down the steps at daycare.  She walked to our car without my help.  She was wearing size 18 month clothes and size 5 shoes.  That last day at daycare, she ate a bagel with strawberry cream cheese along with some banana and milk for breakfast, mac and cheese, green beans, broccoli and milk for lunch, and had a snack of yogurt, pretzels and apples. She napped from 12:15-2:10. Her big activity of the day was playing in the backyard on the swingset and walking down the block with the other kids to play in the green space.  What a big girl!
