We took our first Mommy/Sarah summertime trip zoo today (I know, I know - just get ready for lots of zoo pictures this summer!). The water in Nikita's swimming pool was really green from all the rain we've had this spring, but we still loved watching him swim his laps!
Our other favorite animal encounter of the day was the chimps! We don't do Africa as often as we do the older part of the zoo (there's a lot more empty space between exhibits, and that doesn't always go over well with Sarah!), but if she loves the chimps this much, we might be going that way more often this summer!
