This week we celebrated Kate's first Thanksgiving, and boy-oh-boy was she ready for it! She spent most of Thanksgiving morning hanging out and gnawing on a spoon in preparation for the big meal.
She and Sarah also sat together and watched the Curious George Christmas special on TV Thanksgiving morning. Melt my heart...
Kate took a little nap while we watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and then we headed over to Grammie and PaPa's to eat, eat, eat!
Kate was a big fan of getting to sample "real" food from the Thanksgiving table. She had tiny bites of turkey, some sweet potatoes, a bit of pumpkin pie, and lots and lots of mashed potatoes! I think she would have eaten the entire turkey if we had let her, though...
In addition to celebrating Thanksgiving, we also decorated for Christmas this week. Kate didn't seem to know what to think of the tree, but she was very interested in pulling the bird ornament off the bottom branches!
She also really enjoyed laying on the floor on Sarah and looking at the lights!
And as if that wasn't enough for us to celebrate this week, Kate also turned 7 months old on Sunday!
