We had a very busy but fun Easter this year! It started with the baskets that the Easter Bunny had left at our house. Sarah got some Paw Patrol toys and socks.
Kate got some baby snacks.
After baskets, we went to the yard to collect eggs. The Easter Bunny surprised all of us by leaving some eggs in the front yard (thank you, whoever you were!), and then we moved into the backyard where we KNEW the bunny had left eggs!
While Kate had her morning nap, Sarah and I joined the neighborhood gang for an egg hunt in the Bursons' backyard!
The Easter Bunny had left one golden egg for each girl at the Burson house.
Sarah got to trade her golden egg for a puzzle (which we have put together about 5 times a day since then!).
Sarah emptied her eggs...
....then posed for a few pictures for me. Can you tell how excited she was to do that?!
Then it was time to head to Grammie and PaPa's house for brunch and the third Easter egg hunt of the day!
Kate and PaPa supervised. I'm pretty sure Kate was taking notes for next year!
We took a few family photos, and then had some yummy brunch!
The girls had a fantastic Easter, and we can't wait until next year when our new cousin will be celebrating with us!
