June 6 - June 12
This was a week full of ups and downs - ups because Sarah loves her mobile, and downs because she loves her feet! While her feet are pretty cool, she is totally in love with the mobile. She will lay in her crib and coo, laugh, and squeal with delight at the little animals as they circle above her! She kicks her legs and swings her arms and is a riot to watch...
Other big events this week included Sarah's first experience with fireflies (not as excited as Mom was) and her first trip to the City Market. In this photo, Sarah is thinking about which foods she'd like to try first!
We also took Pickle to the vet (she's now on a diet), and Sarah experienced her first heat advisory warning when temperatures topped out at 95+ on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week! She's also hanging onto her toys with a full, tight fist now - just TRY to get it out of her hand!!!
But my favorite thing to watch is Sarah trying out new toys in her mouth. Sophie is not a "new toy" (in fact, this was one of the first toys she ever put in her mouth!), but check out the progression from "Hey, you look good" to "Hey, you taste good!"
