28 Weeks Old

October 3 - October 9

Sarah got her second tooth this week!  It's her bottom left tooth, and it's just as sharp as the bottom right one is!  See if you can spot it in these pictures (it's dwarfed by her now HUGE 1st tooth!):

Sarah put those super sharp teeth to good use this week.  She tried puffs for the first time!  At first she wasn't quite sure what to do with them, but once she figured out they tasted pretty good if she put them in her mouth, they disappeared pretty quick!  I was totally impressed with her eating...until I picked her up and discovered that most of them had just fallen into her lap!  Pickle is going to LOVE this stage, I can tell!!!

On Saturday morning, we went to the Big Red Barn in Weston.  It was so much fun!  We walked around and looked at all the barnyard animals.  We were mean parents and didn't let Sarah take a pony ride or climb on the haystack, but we DID buy her a pumpkin!  It was a beautiful fall day, and the fall leaves and tall grass out at the farm were absolutely gorgeous!

Yea, Big Red Barn!!!  We will definitely be going back there again!

Saturday afternoon was spent watching the K-State v. MU game with Mom and Dad.  She wore her cheerleading uniform for Mom and her headband for Dad.  And much like her outfit, things were about 75% in favor of K-State throughout the game!

By the end of 1st quarter, we took everything off and let her roll around on the blanket in the warm fall sun.  She loves to be on the floor with the screen door open - she giggles every time the wind blows over her!
