29 Weeks Old

October 10 - October 16

What a nice little week we had!  Since the fall weather has been so beautiful, we've spent lots of time outside.  On Tuesday night, we met Uncle Adam and and his super cute and fun girlfriend, Megan, at South Lake Park for some ice cream and swinging. Sarah showed off her new trick - shaking her head when we say "No, no, no!"  It's cute now, but I have a feeling there will come a day when "No" stops being so adorable!

Sarah's really rocking the baby food thing, too!  She's got her two little chompers working overtime as she tries to "chew" the purees I make.  She's been going on a baby food strike - she only wants to eat puffs!  (Is a love of carbohydrates hereditary???)  Here she is on one of the rare days she felt like cooperating with me while I attempted to feed her a *GASP* vegetable...

On Saturday, Sarah got to go to the zoo with Mommy and Daddy.  It was beautiful, and we had a lot of fun looking at all the Halloween activities that she can participate in next year!  The animals were all out enjoying the weather as well, so we had a lot to look at!  Of course, a monkey in the stroller is always more interesting than a monkey in a cage.

Checking out the hippo.  We have a book called the Hugapotomus, but this fellow doesn't look the same...

We also have a book about a snip-o-dile, snap-o-dile, very scary crocodile!  YIKES!

Can you believe what a beautiful fall we're having?  Even the zoo is gorgeous!

Eating some puffs in the stroller while Mommy and Daddy have their lunch...

Holding her monkey while she checks out the REAL monkeys.  Think these guys know each other?

The other big thing about our trip to the zoo was the fact that it was Sarah's first adventure in her new, big girl car seat!  She outgrew the carrier/travel system (by height, not weight!), so Daddy installed the new car seat for her on Friday night.  She's just getting so big so fast!!!
