On our last morning in Chicago, we returned to Eggsperience for another delicious breakfast. I'm normally someone who enjoys eating at a lot of different restaurants while traveling, but this place was super yummy! Sarah had her standard banana, Tom had some egg-biscuit-gravy concoction, and I had crepes with banana and Nutella. That's what you're supposed to eat on a vacation, right?

We made up for our sins by walking to the Lincoln Park Zoo. It was sunny and cool, and the walk through the neighborhood and the park itself was delightful! I had no idea the park was that beautiful, and we wandered through the park, across the zoo's Nature Boardwalk and into the zoo itself.
We chased some ducklings, visited some camels and flamingos, and went through the reptile house before meeting up with Uncle Adam and Megan around 10:00.
We joined up with Adam and Megan and headed to check out the sea lions...
...and then ride the zoo's carousel - two times!
Uncle Adam was super nice and bought her a plastic monkey at the monkey house, and then we had some lunch and said good-bye to Adam and Megan to head back to the hotel for a nap!
After nap, we walked down to the river and back along Michigan Avenue one last time. Then we stopped at Giordano's for some pasta and Chicago-style pizza. We ate on the patio along the street, and Sarah was entertained by the people, busses, and pigeons passing by. I had a delicious beer, and Tom was super happy with his pizza. It was a wonderful way to spend our last night in Chicago!
We'll be dreaming of Chicago all summer long...
