Outdoor Play

As the weather gets cooler and cooler, we've been sneaking in as much outdoor play as we can before "outside" equals "coats, hats and boots."

For some reason, though, Sarah already equates outside and hats.  She insists on wearing a hat whenever possible.  She has also become very animated when she's talking!  Her little face gets so expressive, and she waves her hands as she makes her point.  It's just adorable.

Sarah has also figured out how to make the Cozy Coupe go in small circles on the deck by pushing with just one foot.  It cracks her up every time she does it!  First, though, she's got to make sure her milk is packed...

And when she gets tired of driving, she still loves to push her dolls around in the shopping cart!  It's so precious to hear her say, "Be-be!" and run around the deck with the poor baby's head smacking against the side of the plastic shopping cart.

Today, we took Baby on a field trip to the front steps so she could see Sarah's pumpkin.  (When asked what that big round vegetable is called, Sarah always says, "orange" instead of "pumpkin"!)  I'm not sure this pumpkin will make it until Halloween if Sarah keeps playing rough with it, though!  Maybe it will have to be a pumpkin pie instead of a Jack-o-Lantern.
