This Saturday, we celebrated my Great Uncle Bill's 85th birthday. It was a wonderful excuse to get our extended family together in one room, and it was great to spend some time with relatives who live out of town.
A party with the Cox Clan is always fun, but this party was even more fun because my dad's cousin, Steve, had the ice cream truck stop by! This was Sarah's first experience with the ice cream truck (they just don't seem to come by our house at all), so she was in heaven...
She wanted a Sour Patch Kids ice cream bar. We talked her out of that one!
She ended up with a Hello Kitty cotton candy-flavored ice cream bar, and she seemed pretty happy with it!
And if the ice cream wasn't enough, we had cake, too!
