This week was all about the Royals! For the first time in 29 years, they won the ACLS (in a sweep, no less) and are progressing to the World Series. WOW!
Unfortunately, neither of Kate's parents are big baseball fans, so Kate doesn't have any Royals gear to wear in celebration (to be honest, Sarah is the only one in the house with a Royals shirt!). So we dressed her in blue and hoped that it was close enough to count...
We also celebrated fall this weekend by meeting Grammie and PaPa at the Linn Valley Lakes Fall Festival, where Kate enjoyed some snuggle time with her grandparents.
Kate also got to rock her pumpkin hat. She was a pretty good sport about it, too!
Later that night, Kate took her first hayride, too. She didn't seem too impressed by it, but she didn't scream about it, either!
On the home front, Kate tried sweet potatoes this week. She's also practicing sitting up. That one is going to take some more work, though...
