34 Weeks Old

December 24 - December 30

What a week!  We started by celebrating Kate's first Christmas.  As expected, she really only enjoyed the wrapping paper and boxes, but we sure had fun helping her open her toys!

On Christmas Eve, we had dinner at our house.  Kate looked lovely in her fancy velvet dress!

She was definitely more comfortable in her Christmas jammies, though!

Kate didn't get much out of Christmas Eve dinner this year (although she DID eat a lot of mashed potatoes!), but she really enjoyed playing with the family!

She got to spend some time with my cousin, Natalie, that night, and she met my cousin, Dashiell, for the first time ever!

I think she had a pretty good first Christmas Eve!

On Christmas morning, we got up and opened stockings and family gifts. 

She played with some of her toys, and then we went to Grammie and PaPa's house for a bit.  I was really bad about taking pictures there, though!

The rest of the week was spent at home together.  We played and napped and practiced crawling!

Kate rounded out this week by turning 8 months old!
