July 4 - July 10
Despite the 4th of July, this week was pretty low-key! We didn't bother to go see any fireworks - it was amazingly hot and Sarah goes to bed by 8:00. We did get to hear some of our neighbor's display, but Sarah slept through it all!
Sarah has also been practicing sitting up without support this week. She still needs some help to stay upright, but she's able to sit by herself on my stomach with just my leg along her back!
Other tricks that Sarah has mastered: sucking on her toes. And I do mean ALL of her toes! However, if you look closely in this picture, you can tell that she went to the effort of bringing her toes to her mouth...and then went ahead and sucked her thumb instead!
