Kate's 2nd Birthday Party

Kate turned two on a Saturday, so her birthday was quite literally a party from morning to evening!

She started her birthday with a doughnut topped with a candle. Also, she refused to put on a shirt, so...

Once we finished our breakfast and talked her into putting on some clothes, Kate opened her gifts.

She got an Elmo flashlight and a new stuffed Elmo toy...

...and a stuffed My Little Pony and a My Little Pony ball.

She also got a Minnie Mouse doll that she can dress up.

Then Kate played with her new toys for a bit while we got ready for her party!

We went with a woodland theme this year, so there was a whole lot of cuteness going on.

I mean, check out this hedgehog cake!!!

We also served mud, worms, and animal poop. Because, you know. Woodland.

The girls also had woodland-themed dresses!

Waiting for your party to start is tough, though...

Snacks help.

Grammie taught her how old she was...

...then it was candle time!

Kate loved that we all sang to her!

This year, she even knew how to blow out the candles...

She did it!

The cake was as delicious as it was cute!

After cake, we opened gifts. I say WE and not KATE because she had lots of help!

At Grammie's request, we also took a photo of all the cousins post-party.

It was a fantastic day...even if I'm struggling to believe that my baby is TWO!

Happy Birthday, Kate!
