Leaves Are Falling

Poor Tom.  Every year he laments the fact that our oak trees drop their leaves late.  Most years, the majority of leaves finally fall in mid-December.  This is ALWAYS week or two after the trash company stops their leaf collection.  It's usually well after it gets officially cold, too.

This year, enough of the leaves fell in November that Tom felt the need to bag them up this weekend.  Luckily, it happened to coincide with warmer weather!  On Saturday, the girls and I went for a long walk and then returned home to play in the leaves for a bit.

Sarah remembered what to do...

Kate wasn't so sure!

In the end, I think she enjoyed herself, though!
