This weekend, Tom was out of town on his annual baseball trip with the boys. He went to Boston - we went to the Kansas City Farmer's Market! Grammie and Pa-Pa went with us, so we had a great time. They were kind enough to let Sarah ride the tractor-pulled "train" at the market, too!
She climbed right in and got comfy in one of the blue cars.
As if a train ride wasn't enough, Sarah got a sucker from the engineer to enjoy on her trip!
Mmmm. Root beer Dum-Dum. (NOT one of Mommy's favorites!)
And then they were off!!!
By the end of the ride, all those loops had her starting to look a little queasy...
Sarah high-fived the conductor...
...posed for a photo with him...
...and then announced that the train ride had scared her and had made her cry (don't worry - she never cried!). Luckily, Grammie was there to give her a hug and make her feel better!
Pa-Pa had his own methods of making Sarah feel better - he fed my daughter pork rinds. Chili-lime pork rinds at that!
Look at that smile! He totally knew what he was up to. Ewww....
Very smart, Pa-Pa. With a mouth-full of pork rinds you can't apologize for anything...
