We had a pretty low-key Memorial Day this year, so Sarah got to spend some time outside painting with the sidewalk chalk paint set I bought for her. I've never done chalk paint before (and, to be honest, probably never will again!), but Sarah enjoyed the novelty of it...until all the foam brushes fell apart from being used on the driveway!
Eventually, we just started mixing all the paint to see what would happen!
My favorite part of the whole day was when Sarah made a blob that looked a bit like a person and said, "Mom? I started to make a picture and it looked like a fairy. But it needs your help to finish looking like a fairy. Will you help it?"
Baby, I will always try to make a little magic for you!
